Hyunmin has over 11 years of experience in bioinformatics and genomics. He began his career at TheragenEtex, where he conducted NGS-based genome research across diverse species and co-authored multiple publications, including studies published in Nature Communications and Nature Genetics. He also developed an automated genome analysis platform that significantly increased sales and reduced labor costs. At Genome Research Foundation, he built the Korean Genome Project website by integrating open-source applications. He later joined Seegene as a Senior Research Engineer, developing automated workflows and improving molecular diagnostics products. He co-founded a genomics startup, launching a direct-to-consumer genetic testing MVP and participating in the KIC startup accelerator. At Theragen Bio, he implemented scalable bioinformatics workflows on AWS and led a team to achieve top results in international challenges, contributing to drug discovery and COVID-19 research. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Bioinformatics from Soongsil University.
